Corel Corporation (NASDAQ:CREL) (TSX:CRE) today announced that Mark Hilton has been named Senior Vice President, Product Management & Marketing, Digital Media. Hilton will oversee all product management and product marketing functions for Corel’s complete portfolio of products for photo and video editing, as well as DVD authoring and playback.
Prior to joining Corel, Hilton was Adobe’s Vice President of Product Management for the Creative Solutions Business Unit. In his role he provided business strategy and vision, as well as product leadership for many of Adobe’s flagship products including the Adobe Creative Suites, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Dreamweaver. Prior to joining Adobe, Hilton was the co-founder of BeHere Corporation, an Internet virtual reality imaging company. He also served as the company’s vice president of marketing and sales.
In his new role at Corel, Hilton will be responsible for expanding the reach of Corel’s digital media portfolio with innovative software products that are exciting, accessible and highly intuitive for customers.
